One of the biggest mistakes you can make is to believe that you are going to get the job if you can demonstrate that you are good enough to do the job. No! You get the job by demonstrating that you will do the job better than all the other candidates who are good enough to do the job. Good enough is not good enough. Only memorable is good enough.
Selling yourself is not about telling the interviewer how good you are. That's called arrogance and arrogance does not impress.. You sell yourself by demonstrating that you, more than any other candidate, knows what you're talking about. Ah! But how do you do that?
Even the best coaching is not going to work unless you have a coach who commits to your success right up to the time that you land the job you're looking for. Having a coach who is also your mentor is not obligatory; but it's essential to your success.
