Ideal Client
We might negociate on many things, but I would not expect anyone to compromise their corporate goals or their personal integrity. I absolutely refuse to do so. Before you consider contacting me, give some thought to the following issues:
1/ Whatever your current communication skills level, the people with whom I work best are those who are constantly looking for opportunities to perform at an even higher level. Being good can be the enemy of achieving excellence.
2/ I am happiest working with genuine leaders or aspiring leaders. The world needs leaders more than any other type of person.
3/ In order to coach communications most effectively, I will invite you to share your vision with me (corporate or individual).
4/If you are looking for team coaching, I will expect to coach your leaders first so that effective role modelling can take place after the course. It will be ineffective otherwise.
I don't charge the earth but I'm looking for demanding clients who expect the best and who are willing to pay for it. Would you feel satisfied with my services if the best you could say of me was: "Barry's fees are the lowest around; but if you use him, you'll find out why?" Wouldn't you rather say to your friends: "Barry may not be the cheapest guy out there; but if you use his services, you'll find out why." If you can't, I wasn't good enough!
Working with a select group of clients leaves me free to offer the following:
- A coaching course individually prepared to suit your requirements.
- Mentoring (included in the cost) on a team or individual basis.
- I will arrive fresh and relaxed and I will cummunicate with passion.
If you decide to contact me, here's what I suggest we do:
- Speak on the phone for 3 to 4 minutes. The only purpose of the call should be to decide whether it's worth our while meeting for a more structured discussion.
- If we decide to meet up, we will be exploring whether your aims and my skills are a match. They may not be, and neither of us must feel uncomfortable if we decide we are not a fit.
- I will not offer my services until I am absolutely clear what you want me to do for you and until you are satisfied that I am qualified and have the experience to deliver. If I believe you would be better seeking advice from someone else, I will tell you so.
- You will not be invited to make a decision until we have agreed a fee that you accept as fair. I will try to work within your budget but please understand that my aim is to deliver the highest standard of which I am capable. I am not the coaching equivalent of the pound shop!
